Ragal Ironbull takes a different emotional path with Write It in the Sky, another piece from Memories Never Fade. There’s something almost timeless about the idea of putting a message in the sky, as if a thought, promise, or feeling could be sent beyond the reach of ordinary words. Against the Viking-inspired setting, the concept feels grand without losing its human side.
Write It in the Sky carries the feeling of wanting something to remain after you’re gone. It could be a memory, a declaration, or simply something important enough that you refuse to let it disappear. That gives the track a sense of purpose, while the imagery makes it easy to picture wide open landscapes and a story being passed from one generation to another.
What I like about this concept is that it doesn’t need to be tied to one specific meaning. Everyone has something they would want written across the sky if they had the chance. A name, a promise, a goodbye, or even a reminder to keep going. That openness gives the music room to become personal for whoever is listening.
Within Memories Never Fade, the track feels like a message aimed beyond the present moment. Its Viking character gives the idea a sense of scale and legend, while the emotional core keeps it grounded. It leaves you with the feeling that some words are worth carrying far beyond their original moment.
