Affirm with Music takes a softer approach with Quietly Becoming, a song about growing into yourself without needing everybody around you to notice every change.
Not every change in life comes with an announcement. Sometimes you just start thinking differently. You stop explaining yourself so much, become more comfortable with who you are, or realise that something you used to struggle with does not bother you the same way anymore. Nobody claps for those moments, but they still matter.
That is what I like about the idea behind the title. “Quietly becoming” feels much closer to real life than the usual talk about completely changing overnight. You can be making progress while still having bad days. You can be unsure about where you are going and still be moving in the right direction.
The first person wording also makes the affirmation easy to take personally. It is not telling somebody else who they should become. It sounds more like a private reminder you give yourself when you realise that the person you are today is not quite the person you were a few months ago.
Quietly Becoming is for those stages of life when the changes are happening on the inside first. Maybe nobody else has noticed yet. That is fine. Some of the most important growth happens before there is anything to show the world.
